Dreaming of fasting: Unfounded fears or a call to check your heart

 JESUS DEFEATED DEATH!

Hallelujah! If you're reading this, WRITE "AMEN" if you've already deserted Satan's army and now you're a warrior marching under the blood of the Lamb. Because "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). And though the world speaks to you of psychology or mere fasting, you know that "prayer and fasting can move mountains" (Matthew 17:21). Wake up, soldier! Today we're uncovering what God reveals when you dream about fasting—because even your hunger has a spiritual meaning.

Dreaming of fasting: Unfounded fears or a call to check your heart

When you dream that you are fasting, the Holy Spirit often shows you: you have unfounded fears that you need to let go of. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).

This dream is a reminder: your fears are not from God. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). Stop worrying—start trusting.

Fasting voluntarily: Overconfidence and hidden loneliness

If you fast voluntarily in your dream, it's a warning: your overconfidence may create rivalries that could hurt your interests. "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18).

It also symbolizes a need for affection—you may be going through a season of loneliness and sadness. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Check your heart: are you relying too much on yourself? Are you feeling isolated? Run to the Father, who never leaves you.

Fasting to prove something: A cry to be heard

If you dream of fasting to prove a point or as part of a strike, it's a sign: you need to express your thoughts and have them valued by those around you. "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute" (Proverbs 31:8).

God is telling you: your voice matters, but don't use manipulation or self-pity to make your point. "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt" (Colossians 4:6). Speak truth in love.

Fasting by obligation: Ambition that leads to trouble

If you dream that you fast because you have to (not by choice), it's a warning: your excessive ambition may stir up revenge and future problems. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10).

Be more prudent when pursuing your ideals. "Do not be overrighteous, neither be overwise—why destroy yourself?" (Ecclesiastes 7:16). Balance is key—don't let ambition blind you to God's will.

Seeing a skinny figure (person or animal): Warning against excess

If you see a gaunt, skinny figure (person or animal) caused by fasting, it's a warning about excesses in food, drink, or pleasure that could harm your health—both physical and spiritual. "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18).

Gluttony and overindulgence are not just physical—they are spiritual bondage. "Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial" (1 Corinthians 6:12).

Discipline your body and keep it under control, so that after preaching to others, you yourself will not be disqualified (1 Corinthians 9:27).

Conclusion: Fasting is a weapon, not a ritual

Warrior, true fasting is not about hunger—it's about humility, prayer, and surrender to God. "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice, to set the oppressed free, to share your food with the hungry?" (Isaiah 58:6-7).

Today I prophesy: every unfounded fear is broken. Every loneliness is filled with the love of the Father. Every overconfidence is humbled, and every excess is cut off. Your fasting will become a breakthrough.

"Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him" (Revelation 1:7).

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty" (Revelation 1:8).

FEAR OUT, FAITH IN!

Write below: "I FAST TO BREAK CHAINS!" and share this revelation with another soldier. Because the one who dreams of fasting but trusts in the Lion of Judah will see the chains fall.
